Allouez Council #658, Rock Island, IL

Why should I join the Knights of Columbus?
LEAD WITH FAITH. . .  Deepen your faith. As a member of the Knights of Columbus, you have access to a wealth of spiritual resources to help you become a better Catholic man, husband, and father.
PROTECT YOUR FAMILY. . .  Discover the Catholic difference. As a member of the Knights of Columbus, you get exclusive access to our top-quality portfolio of financial products, backed by ethical Catholic business practices, that can help you secure your family’s future and give you peace of mind.
SERVE OTHERS. . .  Make an impact. As a member of the Knights of Columbus, you can be a part of our unmatched charitable outreach. Support and participate in thousands of charitable programs – both local and international – that help those who need it most.
DEFEND YOUR VALUES. . .  Defend the faith. Defend the truth. As a member of the Knights of Columbus, your voice is joined with 1.9 million fellow members. You receive tools and resources to stay informed, take action, and support local, national, and international efforts on issues that are important to you. The Catholic faith is worth defending, and with the Knights you never act alone.

Deep within the heart of every man is a call to live with purpose and meaning; a call to lead, to protect, to serve, and to defend.
Men today need a band of brothers – other Catholic men to share in that call, who walk together on the journey towards something better.

You are BORN a man.  You BECOME a Knight!

About Our Council
Allouez Council was founded in 1902 through the efforts of the Dr. J.P. Cometys, T.F. LaVelle, J.T. Shields, J. Geiger, E.J. Burns and H.V. Burns. It is named after Reverend Claude Jean Allouez, who was a famous missionary Jesuit during the 17th Century in Illinois. The Allouez Council works closely with St. Pius X, Sacred Heart and St. Mary Parishes, providing funds for various projects with council members being active participants in their parishes.
