Coats for Kids – Allouez Council 658

Allouez Council participates annually in the Knights of Columbus Faith in Action program, Coats for Kids.  For Fraternal Year 2026, our Council increased the number of coats donated through our participation in the program.  We delivered eight boxes, or a total of 96 coats to Skip-a-Long Childhood Center in Rock Island and two boxes, or a total of 24 coats to Children’s Therapy Center, also in Rock Island.

In addition to the Coats for Kids donation, we also ordered eight boxes of coats to be delivered to Chloe’s Closet at The Woman’s Choice Center in Bettendorf, IA and Bella’s Boutique at Pregnancy Resources in Moline, IL. Four boxes, 48 coats, were also delivered to each agency on August 4th.  In addition to the coats, these two agencies will also receive a $200 grant from the Supreme Council through the Aid and Support After Pregnancy (ASAP) program.
