KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS: FOSTERING A CULTURE OF LIFE
On June 24, 2022, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld a Mississippi law banning abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy, concurrently overturning Roe v. Wade, the landmark ruling that legalized abortion nationwide nearly 50 years ago. Since 2022, the Knights of Columbus ASAP Program has donated over $10 million to pregnancy resource centers and maternity homes to help moms and babies in need. Participate in the ASAP program today to continue this effort.
Allouez Council has been participating in the ASAP (Aid and Support after Pregnancy) since 2023. We purchase Toddler Size coats and donate them to The Woman’s Choice Center in Bettendorf to distribute through their Chloe’s Closet and to Pregnancy Resources in Moline to distribute through their Bella’s Boutique. This year we donated 48 coats to each agency at a total cost of $2,267. We don’t have a fundraiser for this program, so we could really use some help with this program.
